Axel Becker on Fstoppers

Hi everybody!

I´m Axel and I´m a passionate wildlife photographer from germany. I stared with marco-photography on insects two years ago and dived into the tele-world a year ago. I´m trying to focus on beetles, but the animal kingdom is just to wonderful and inspiring to stick to one group. I graduated in B.Sc. landscapeecology & nature conservation and soon my M.Sc. in zoology will be finished too. The knowledge about animals, plants and nature altogether will help me to find and frame wildlife.
I started with a Nikon D3200 and the Sigma 105mm macro. I still have the Sigma, but I updated my camerabody to a D7200. This combo is wonderfull for macros, but the body + my tele can sometimes cause frustration in low light, especially when I try to snap a critter at a far distance. So a full frame is much needed. I´m good on the camer support side and also with camo.
