I’m a commercial photographer with a passion for cars and creative lighting techniques. Currently I’m working on a collection called “car fine art” which is aimed to portray the beauty of cars and to give recognition to the creative work of car designers. The photos are created using a lighting technique I had to design myself to enable me to create a low key lighting effect when shooting cars on location. This lighting technique, I liked to call FDL technique, allows me to create a matt finish on the bodywork of the car and is particularly useful to light smaller areas of the car to bring out the subtle details of the design.
