I started photography in 2013 after being diagnosed with M.E. My previous creative outlet was making extreme hardcore dance music, but I have found the change of pace and being outdoors have had a hugely positive impact on me.
I always had an affinity with animals and found myself quickly gravitating to them as subjects. I've taken many charity photos, particularly of cats, for a number of organisations here in the UK. For my personal work I find that swans are the most beautiful and emotionally effecting of creatures and importantly they are easy to find, as I can't travel a great deal.
I'll certainly take up photography as a full time profession should the M.E. clear. Until then I earn t and pieces from prints, stock photos, greetings cards and the odd commission.
