Like a lot of people that grew up in the late 70′s and early 80′s, my photography experience was limited to classic instant film cameras, 110 film and my all time favourite disc film. In the early 90′s I converted to the digital format, but I still have a fond appreciation for the raw vintage look of those analogue years. I express my artistic vision by capturing images of charismatic people in exclusive or more personal settings. This allows my attention to be focused on the subject, while keeping the final results in flawless perspective. My processing methods attempt to capture personality, emotion and truth while paying homage to classic film characteristics.
