I decided, after years of having received fStoppers' newsletters, to upload images of past work, before I became an art photographer. At that time, I was very interested in photographing, who I found to be, regular ol' good looking people, in basic good physical shape, who felt good (enough) about theirselves (and some who did not) to be photographed... along with 'test models' from agencies.

Having been inspired by and having worked within the true 'super model' era, where very specified qualities were required, a 'super model' today, is impossible. That term is wrongly used to describe 'model' now-a-days. There is no longer the ability to create a 'super model' era, like there is no possibility to create a Byzantine or Roman era.

Soldiers of today are not 'Roman soldiers', thus, models of today are not 'super models'. Nonetheless, I set out to work with people who have never 'modelled' and it was a fun journey.
The 'byproduct' of the super model period, was reality tv shows about the fashion business, such as, 'Top Model' and 'Project Runway'.

Many people tuned in and many people wanted to participate. From that, I was able to find and work with many aspiring people, and it gave me a chance to, not only photograph, but to do hair, make-up and make & style clothes. Was fun!

As it's great to show my work on fStoppers, it's a downer to have 'one' person, 'rate' my work, as if this is a finalization of its worthiness. My images don't 'Needs Work' LOL.. Thank You!
