Nicolás Otero, Born in Popayán, 19 April of 1984. Since he was a child had close contact with Cinema, Music and literature under the influence of his mother who is a Literature writer. His interest on Cinema led him to take contact with scenic arts for a while, time after, before starting a career on Cinema on the Corporación Universitaria Unitec in Bogotá, this interest pushed him to take contact with the world of photography, since then he have been performing several short films as a Director of photography, working on 16mm film and professional video, he also has directed a documentary and a videoclip. In paralell with those experiences he has developed an intense passion for still photography, digital and analogue. Nowadays he works as a Freelance Director of photography, Specialized Interior & desing photographer for Airbnb.com on the Bogotá area, and as a titular professor of still photography at fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño in Bogotá.
