ERitzFoto (Erik Ritzman) aka: TheShutterSquirrel, I am a professional-hobbyist photographer with experience shooting “EVENT, PORTRAIT, HEADSHOT” photography as well as numerous other disciplines.
(I also manage IchthysPhoto, LLC; a photographic, non-profit endeavor, that utilizes photography and the relationship with "The LIGHT" to boost encouragement and opportunity through teaching and learning, community service, and "pay-it-forward" principles.)

My unique style of capturing portrait and quality images while easily navigating complex social and private events such as parades, community events and even family gatherings, sets me apart among my peers. Story-telling is an integral part of photography and my style attempts to do just that by making the subject(s) and its/their story forefront in my images.

When not shooting commissioned events and sessions, I continue to improve my skills and talents shooting wildlife, landscapes, street-photography, and much, much more. My constant quest for pushing my limits and experience, thinking outside normal conventional sight-lines and scenarios, often yields to surprisingly artistic and yet naturally captivating images and expressions.
