I remember going on vacation with my father when I was 10 years old and he gave me his Canon AE-1. I blew through a roll of film taking pictures of nothing but the waterfalls and scenery of the Caribbean my first time there. It wasn't until I was nearing 30 that I rediscovered how much I loved taking pictures and picked up a Canon G7. That turned into a G9, which turned into a T2i which turned into a 6D and a whole ton of lighting and lenses. Besides having a whole lot of sexy gear, the study and practice of photography has me enamored. I look to learn and read about it every single day. I love practicing and improving my work. Looking back over the past few years and how my work has improved inspires me to keep at it and improve every single day. It is my sanctuary, my escape from a hard day, my sanity.
