Hello and welcome! My name is Brian Smith. I am a lifestyle photographer in Charleston, SC, capturing anything and everything through a lens. 3E8 Photography is the culmination of a camera casually strapped to my side since I was 13. It’s a new beginning capturing and documenting life for others. It’s an opportunity to share the beauty of life, that I see through a lens, with those who see it through an alternative medium. It’s an opportunity that I cherish and pursue passionately.

Photography is an art form, but it is also a science. Ansel Adams pioneered this. He understood how to capture and manipulate light, life’s only true physical limitation. If you can manipulate light, you are in control. You are a master of life, and can craft it how you choose. I choose to re-imagine my life through photography, technically, artistically. I’m winging it, I’m studying it, I’m living it. 3E8Photography is my journey.
