Started off with Olympus Micro Four thirds OMD EM5 Mark II which is a great camera in a small package which is ideal for street photogrpahy, travel providing great image quality with its wide range of Zuiko and Pro lenses. Thanks to Micro Four Thirds have been able to instil and develop my visual mind, though dormant for years, its provided plenty of visual expression. Entered Photography at a late stage yet thoroughly enjoying it and currently exploring different domains of the photographic landscape.

Lately been trialling the Nikon Z6 which has opened my interest in night/astro photography which is obviously a disadvantage for micro four third capabilities due to its low light limitations. Z6 is a great camera in terms of handling, image quality and its seamless menu system but been disappointed with its auto focus capabilities and price range given Sony provides better features on full frame mirrorless options. Having said that I am yet to try any of the Sony full frame mirrorless to date. Believe the next iteration of Z6 should be impressive but the introduction of Google Pixel 4 mobile and its ability to capture sharp astro photogrpahy has added doubts in my mind if the micro four thirds/mirrorless revolution will be short lived.

However, despite the threats in technological advancement, my interest in photograph and the effort involved in capturing an image to your liking will never cease including the Olympus OMD range.
