James is a commercial portrait photographer specializing in portraits, actors and corporate headshots, corporate photography, and media promotion. James is currently based in Tempe, Arizona (Metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona) but travels for projects.
James also exhibits an uncanny ability to capture the essence of everyday life with his photojournalist style.

In James's own words:

My goal is to capture the essence of a person through the lens of my camera. You find it in a portrait, a simple actor's headshot, an ad in a magazine, a live performance, and even on the street, as they live their daily life. Photography captures a moment in historyes history and the moments we lose to memories. Portraits reference memories of home and family. I am inspired by people and those moments that capture their passion and true essence.
