Terry McDonald
Workshop facilitator, PhotoTalks presenter, published author, educator, spouse and father: my photography reflects the diversity and beauty of landscapes and nature the world over, combined with a dose of travel photography. I work towards fostering global awareness by capturing the essence of place and the art inherent in nature using authentic photography. My travels have taken me across Canada, my home country, to Tanzania and England where I lived for a number of years, around Europe, Iceland, South Africa, northern Ethiopia, the Galápagos Islands, and Southeast Asia. Yet still, it is the intimate places in my own, extended backyard that draw me in: the Bruce Trail along Ontario’s Niagara Escarpment, local wetlands, conservation areas, provincial and national parks. With each change through the four seasons, there is always more to see and capture.
