Martin Peterdamm

Born during the dying breaths of the 70s, between disco and the peace movement.
Grown up in a manor house of the time-honoured Hanse between Elbe and Weser. Characterised by deep forests and high, snow-bathed mountains of the Prussian Alps. A childhood between the vanitas of a Prague dike reeve, and the optimism of a Seligman. After his higher school certificate he studied the etymology of human ordinariness in monetary serenity. A moment of cognitive derangement and lavish optimism compelled him into exmatriculating into the world of determinate creativity. Creativity that, presently, was much more vision than reality, but slowly became tangible after a brief intermission. Photography at first seemed to become only one possible way to satisfy the playful instinct and the desire for realisation. This way manifested into a life’s journey full of purpose. His talent, as well as the desire for solvent interested parties made him what he is now…
