Hi everybody. My name is Mel Gattis and I'm an event, portrait and wedding photographer out of East Orange, NJ. I'm going into my fourth year as a professional photographer and it has been a HARD journey. So much so that I can no longer keep it as my sole source of income and have to go back to the rat race for a little while to take care of my family. I'm not happy about it, but I have to do what I have to do. In the mean time, I'm going to continue working on shooting more often to build my skills and developing a business plan so I can actually justify and get paid what I'm SUPPOSED to get paid for what I do. I'm kinda at a place where I don't need to buy anymore videos, workshops etc and just need to get out there and work with what I've learned up to this point. We'll see how it goes.
