Patrick McEachern

Hello... My name is Patrick McEachern and uh, I am a photography addict.

The basics; I'm a 22 year old newly minted professional photographer. My primary income is earned through corporate portraiture and advertising at the moment though most of my personal work consists of editorial portraiture, erotica, and documentary photojournalism.

The not so basics: Growing up the son of a professional musician and an art major meant I was surrounded by art and immersed in culture throughout the course of my childhood. This led to an exploration of many artistic forms for me before jumping into business/marketing. I eventually took up photography a few years ago, and never looked back. About three years ago I realized that it could actually be a career so I started to take it far more seriously. I moved across the country to Vancouver to attend The Vancouver Institute of Media Arts, graduated in September of last year. I wound up on assignment in Haiti for the first three months of 2014, then have been taking odd jobs in and around Toronto ever since. My eventual goal is to work as a conflict documentary photojournalist, along with doing celebrity/personality portraiture on the side.
