Spencer Garn is a creative and experienced photographer with a discerning eye for composition and exposure who first learned on his fathers Minolta Xg1 film camera while in High School in the mid 1990's. That camera continued to inspire his photography passion, and eventually he started investing in digital cameras, leading up to his current 2019 model Sony a6400! He comes from a back ground in the music business, both as a musician as well as photographer, videographer, and designer for print & cover concepts, and social media design elements for record labels, studios, bands and artists. His design and photographs have been used in several album concepts and websites. In 2019 he began investing again in more camera gear, lenses and decided to seek out photography work in the areas of model portraits, product and food, real estate, and creative concept shoots.

“Photography is an artistic process for me. I am an artist. I did not go to school for music, design, photography, or videography yet I am self employed by all for a combination of 15+ years. I have owned and been running a small recording studio for 8+ years in Atlanta, GA. Gain staging audio signals for recording software or analog tape is almost the same as gain staging light for hitting a sensor. I have learned how to control and manipulate audio and visual signals of energy to display a certain soundscape or visual composition.”
