ADITYA MISRA

I am a self-taught photographer and have been shooting for over 8 years now. My mainstream profession is Navy and have been to over 30 countries so far. I have had the unique privilege of photographing people, architecture, and landscapes from all around the world which has really opened my eyes to the sheer beauty and variety that our planet has to offer.

I started off photography with an attitude to photograph anything other than the ordinary. But, with time, there was this revelation that there is greater beauty in the ordinary itself which is usually overlooked. So, as a result, the camera became a tool to ground my awareness in those things that we cannot help thinking about. I do have to admit though; that to remain undistracted is still quite a task. But, whenever I'm not distracted, the experience is peaceful and calm, and that is why I value photography.
