Audrey Hamilton
Digital photographer. I shoot with a Nikon Z7 and D850 / mostly work with 2 lenses - favorite lens Tamron 24-70mm. All my photo editing is done on a MacBook Pro with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Because I want more control and creativity in editing; I shoot in raw. I prefer to keep my images as natural as possible – only intensifying certain colors for a dramatic feel, removing objects or simplifying a composition. I also enjoy playing with shadows to add mystery.
Macro and Landscape photography are projects that I work on for my enjoyment. I am drawn to finding sparks of hope where others wouldn’t think of looking. I have drawn inspiration for my work, from masters such as Degas, Monet, Van Gogh, and Klimt which I have long admired. The diffuse patterns and textures, occurring naturally around us have become my pallet. I also draw on my youthful experiences as a ballet dancer and violinist. This personal history has shaped my work as a photographer. I am continually drawn to long, fluid, lines of old trees and reflective magic o
