Arnie Ortiz

Became a photographer almost 21/2 years ago. It is kind of sad because I spent 20 years in the Army, traveled everywhere, korea, Australia, Europe, Russia, station 3 years in Hawaii, 8 years and Alaska, and basically all over the United States and have nothing to show for because I didn't take even 100 pictures all that time :) Nevertheless, is never to late to start but no way to capture those moments that I missed, including the first eruption of Kilauea volcano in 1983 in years, I had a front seat with no camera ;( I was even on the welcome center the day before, and got destroyed the next day.

Anyway, now I have been a Systems Analyst for NASA for over 16 years, love my job but more... going out and capture moments in nature.
