Alekh Ajayaghosh

Alekh continues to develop his personal practice in large format and medium format photography and is passionate about the science behind the camera.

He enjoys experimenting with lens construction and started his photography with a self-constructed 180mm telephoto which he built using magnifying glass and lenses available at local optical shops. Alekh’s work has been exhibited in various cities like London, Farnham, Düsseldorf, Ahmedabad and home town Trivandrum.

Alekh studied photography at the National Institute of Design and at University of the Creative Arts (at Farnham). He also holds a bachelors degree in fine arts from College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum.
