Alex Rumsey

My name is Alexandria, but you can call me Alex.

I am a Minnesota based photographer, but I love to travel! Though I specialize in photography I love all forms of art. I started my creative journey with drawing and soon realized that there is whole world of different mediums I can use! I enjoy sewing, interior design, leather work, floral design, and painting as well as photography. I have had the chance to take several different types of drawing and painting classes and find that many of the things I learned could be applied to all areas of art. As for photography, I’ve spent a lot of time reading books, and watching lectures and tutorials. I’m always striving to learn and keep up with current trends. Most importantly, I’ve had some great photographers whom I admire spend time mentoring me. I’ve had 7+ years of experience photographing nature, animals, and people and have done many weddings, graduation, individual and family photos. I've also added real estate photography to my skill set.

I love being different and doing things that are unique. Give me something that says "one of a Kind" on it and I'm sold! That is why I’m so passionate about taking pictures of my clients in a way that is distinctive to them and shows the world their true beauty and what makes them special.
