Alexandra Masson

Through color and texture I investigate aesthetically internal personal emotional processes to sensibly perceive dazzling chromatic recreations or perceptual representations of past confluential figures. My pieces embody a series of thoughts, feelings, psycho-processes and memories of lived moments, establishing intermediate spaces which narrate stories of introspective displacement. Influences on my artwork are personal experiences and memories to express, codify, sublimate and channel my identity and personal story, relationships and mind states. I establish personal cosmovisions of images by means of digitally manipulated photographs which represent a multiplicity of encounters and emotions, suggesting dreams, repetitiveness, uncertainty and existential entelechy.
