Andrzej Kaniak

I was born in Warsaw, Poland where I had been exploring photography since the 1960’s. After moving to Canada, the fast-paced life pulled me away from creativity, until a lack of fulfillment drove me again to search for beauty. I returned this time via the digital world of photography with a special interest in landscape, cultural impact, geometry, and self –expression.

I use digital manipulation to engage with elements of the image that may be hidden or subdued. For me, digital photography goes further than traditional methods allow; it uncovers , enhances and celebrates a story born from a captured moment.
