Anete Lusina

Originally a Criminology graduate, and currently a Latvian ex-pat living in the UK, I am a social photographer. My journey has led me to find my true love which is people. I shoot documentary photography, I shoot streets but I also find myself at home shooting weddings, boudoir and lifestyle.

What brings it all together for me is learning to react and be patient because people are utterly fascinating and whether I build relationships with them, such as when I shoot weddings, or whether I merely react to strangers doing something bizarre, interesting or unexpected on the streets, to me it's equally as exciting.

I divide my time between doing weddings across the country, travelling around Europe to do street photography, as well as focus on several personal projects, including self portraits.

I also do print and eBooks/iBooks because if I can't leave an imprint in this world and at least a legacy of who I was and how I see the world, then what's the point of using photography as a way to express myself?
