Anthony Coyle

Spanish/British photojournalist. Almost ten years later, I’m still not able to make up my mind. I bought my first DSLR camera back in 2008, while studying third year of Journalism degree in Madrid. It started as a hobby, it ended up being a way to tell stories. Soon I learned that in this media industry it’s kind of hard to work as a writer and as a photographer at the same time: bosses and co-workers expect you to choose between one of those two and stick to it. I get it, and sometimes, under certain circumstances, it even makes sense. But I tend to politely disagree.

I have passion for street photography, but I also shoot portraits and especially architecture photography: I'm very interested in capturing the way humans and constructions interact in our society.
