Christopher B. Merritt

I began taking photos and had my first darkroom when I was 12 years old. As a researcher and clinician and lecturer, I was provided many opportunities for travel, visiting over 50 countries worldwide. My interests include all aspects of photography, including underwater photography ( >16,000 images) on film with Nikon RS. I switched to digital in the early 2000's, Now shoot mainly with a Nikon Z8 as my primary camera. Living in New Orleans on Mardi Gras parade route have large portfolio of parade and Mardi Gras Indian photos. Now retired I spend time editing and printing my digital images and scanned files of negatives and slides as far back as the 1960's.
