Charles Rogers

I have been taking photos since I was about 8 years old. I have always loved it. It has been a component of my career for the last 20 years but I as of 2019 I am making the transition to full-time photographer (whatever that may mean!). :)

Probably 80% of my paid work as a photographer has been product photography in studio. I have shot hundreds of reflective products (big learning curve for lighting), but have also shot a myriad other things. I have many shots that were used in advertising and packaging all over the world. To my knowledge I only have one magazine cover shot (a team shot for a boutique wine maker in Sonoma, California). I enjoy shooting most anything (architecture, people, landscapes, products), so I don't feel like I have a "focus" yet. I hope to find that in the next year.

I grew up in Alaska, but have lived all over the US. I currently reside in the beautiful south of France where the opportunities to photograph amazing things seems to be never ending! I look forward to sharing my adventures with you!
