About Danielle
My photography work is part of what gives meaning to my life. It is one of my passions and pleasures. In my execution of taking photographs I am often thoughtful and conscientious and at times I am spontaneous and disorderly. My view tends toward a dramatic object or subject. Social and cultural issues are their but left in the background to find their own way through the image. It is in the post-process where I infuse myself into the image, mostly subtle sometimes aggressive, to bring out what I saw inside my mind when taking the shot. I strive to capture both a moment in time and a moment in mind: An image that is real and imaginary all at the same time.
