Dave Doeppel

Dave Doeppel is a professional portrait photographer based in Los Angeles. Dave has always had a love for photography, going all the way back to his early childhood. In 2009 Dave and his wife, Regina, began shooting weddings. Dave’s technical background allows him to excel at the backend process and he has advanced his expertise by achieving Adobe Expert Certification in both Lightroom and Photoshop.

In 2013 Dave switched gears and moved from weddings to artistic portraiture. In honing these skills he has become an award winning photographer, focusing on the female form. Dave owns LA Pinups which focuses on Pinup and Boudoir Portraiture. He also heads Dave Doeppel Photography, offering more artistic glamour and fashion portraiture.

Dave has mentored photographers across the country in everything from Lightroom and Photoshop workflow to basic photography and lighting skills. Dave is a monthly contributing writer for The Business of Boudoir as well his own training blog
