I’m informed by the individuals that I meet and the locations that I travel to. I feel a great responsibility to portray the people that I photograph in a dignified and humane way no matter what their circumstance. It is a great honor to be given the opportunity to photograph people in their natural environment and I want my work to be a conduit for a greater understanding of our time. I want my images to represent reality to the viewer. The better of a connection that I can have with my subjects the better the final image will be. The images are the product of a mutual journey towards trust.

Bringing awareness of causes and issues to people through my images is an amazing experience but being able to help people in need is the greatest reward of all.

I’ve been really fortunate to have travelled the world and to have met amazing people of great power and humility. My hope is that the photos I take will from time to time make a difference.
