Des Grain

Des Grain Photography is an organized entity under WhiteWorks Media, LLC. It is a creative outlet for a variety of genres of photography by Des Grain. The purpose is to show the clarity and depth in the world and it’s cultures. Creating perspectives when seeing the beauty of Seattle, or the edginess of Atlanta, Georgia; the intent is to capture expression in people, places, and ideas.

Des Grain was raised in Surry County, Virginia a rural county of Hampton Roads. He started expressing interest in media production at the age of 13, creating short documentaries and sports highlight for local athletes. At 15, he was hired as a videographer for local weddings and events . After high school, Des attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. At Mason, he became a videographer and editor for George Mason Athletics and worked with local musicians as a director and videographer. During Des’ senior year he studied photography, which is now his creative focus.

Currently, Des has organized WhiteWorks Media, LLC. A media company which helps businesses, organizations, and people meet branding and visual marketing goals through promotional photography. Des Grain Photography is a creative outlet to express free artistry and cultural connections.
