Dragos Ionescu

Dragos Ionescu is a Romanian portrait and landscape photographer based in London. He is currently in his final year of studying Photography (B.A.) at University of East London.

Dragos immigrated to the U.K. in 2011 to broaden his horizons and pursue a career in this industry. He admires the individuality and beauty of people and nature. "I find both very complex and intriguing with much to convey." Through his work he seeks to express emotions, tell stories and place the viewer in a certain atmosphere through subject, composition, light and colour. Dragos's photographic approach is cinematic and moody as he draws inspiration from mediums such as cinematography and painting.
