I am a portrait/fashion photographer based in LA. I do a lot of photography and cinematography work in my corporate life, so I thought I'd take my skills and technical knowledge and use them for myself.

My primary focus now is portraits, especially portraits using natural light. Fortunately, there is a fair bit of natural light in LA! You can usually catch me wandering around Venice Beach, capturing the uniqueness of the city at night.

I mainly shoot with Canon gear, with my 5D Mark IV being my main camera. I usually shoot portraits with my Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM. For travel and general purpose shoots, I'll use my trust Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L. I just picked up a Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM and a Lensbaby Velvet 56mm f/1.6, both of which I am excited to start shooting on. I'd expect the 85mm will quickly become my go-to lens for portrait shoots.

I also have a Canon AE-1 Program that I recently got refurbished, so I am looking forward to diving back into real film. For that, I have a 50mm f/1.8 from ~1984 and a 70-210mm from ~1980 (I think).
