Bri Kathleen

I'm an artist, photographer, and teacher residing in Washington state. I love to do yoga, cook vegan food, climb rocks, and hike & travel with camera in hand.
When it comes to photography, I enjoy the process of going out and shooting, trying to capture a true moment, much more than editing in post to later create one. So, most of my images are barely edited, if at all.
I also enjoy shooting on 35mm black & white film, and developing prints in the darkroom. Working in the darkroom, as tedious as it can be, is a very meditative experience that digital photography cannot provide for me.
I love being in nature, and believe that beauty is all around us, and if the light is just right, a photo of just about anything can be interesting and quite special.
I am currently working on a nature photo series, but also enjoy shooting landscape, travel, and street photography.
