Shane Fenton

I was created in the heat of wedding night passion while an episode of Thunderbirds was playing in the dimly lit hotel room background. From there I managed to beat out just shy of a million other potential candidates for life and so my adventure of growth begun. After what was a fairly relaxing nine months, I was thrusted out upon the world where I commenced my journey of creative awesomeness. Skip ahead some years, 14 to be exact, I was introduced to photography and quickly became obsessed with creating photos, which doctors have said there is no known cure for, except to make more photos, which works out great as I was deadest on being a photographer.

Since this fortunate diagnosis, I have enthusiastically devoted myself to the study of photography and the industries surrounding the specific genres I play in, which is fashion, food and entertainment.

I am very lucky to have study all over the world, with most of my training taking place in Sydney, London and Paris. I currently hold a Diploma in Photo Imaging and an MA in Fashion Photography, while never one to settle for educational mediocracy, I have also successfully completed education in the areas of Business Management, Marketing, Training, and if that wasn’t enough, in my mid-twenties I decided to become a qualified, Food Stylist and Trade Chef.

I have been physically tormenting camera shutters and manipulating light for over twenty years and I absolutely love it, photography is my magical spirit animal!
