Giano Currie

Hello, I'm Giano Currie, a fine art photographer with a cultural journey spanning over 15 years in both commercial and fine art photography. My narrative begins in Suriname, the only Dutch-speaking country in South America, and one of the world's most ethnically diverse countries.

Drawing from this rich cultural tapestry, I bring a nuanced understanding of painting with light and sculpting with shadows to create a harmonious contrast in my work both visually and narratively.

My approach to Portraiture and Fine Art Photography is rooted in minimalism, seamlessly blending elements of light and darkness to sculpt my clients in ways that spark the imagination as well as use color theory to guide the viewer’s eyes.
