1997, his first SLR camera in hand Salil Prakash Kawli set forth on a journey of exploration to seek meanings, emotions, beauty, truth and stories in the visuals that made their way into hundreds of his lenses, across various evolutions of the camera.
But as he likes to state, the only constant in photography is not change but rather stasis. A moment frozen in time completely your own vision and thus was born “I Through My Eye.”
Having a applied arts degree from the J.J School Of Applied Arts, and then changing his implement to movie cameras and video gear as he studied cinematography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he now works primarily from his film production indie studio in Mumbai, Monie Plant Productions.
