Thanks for coming to check out my profile! I have been doing photography for about 2 years and recently (the past 4 months) have been getting more serious about it.

I got into photography when I was in the Marines. I had training in Monterey, CA and took some photos on my phone and was upset they didn't look like what I was seeing with my eyes. When I was stationed in Hawaii I got myself GoPro and that's when the obsession started to creep in. I would take photos of hikes and dives I did but quickly realized too much saturation and clarity isn't the key to good photography. I got a D5300 a year later and started committing more time to it and through YouTube videos discovered new styles and techniques. My service took me to different parts of the world and I tried to improve my photography quickly to be able to capture the beauty of some of the locations I went to.

I'm still trying to improve my photography because I think this planet is gorgeous and want to showcase it to the best of my ability.
