Regularly doing work for environmental charities, government agencies and private clients, some of this work done as long term projects lasting up to a year. Often working in remote areas unsupported for specific projects working out of a specially converted 4x4 vehicle. Have worked on whisky advertising, tourism promotion, various books and numerous magazine articles as well as a broad range of other work from canoeing guide books, ski photography, mountain biking, fishing, shooting and various other field sports. Have taught night classes for several decades, guided photographers in the UK and overseas for 25 years and undertaken very low-key tuition projects in the local community working with people with learning difficulties, those recovering from depressive illnesses or drug/alcohol dependency, using photography for therapeutic purposes, and occasionally to undertake art projects using photography for novel and creative purposes. Always looking for new ways to make photographs 'work' in ways people least expect.
