Emanuele La Grotteria
My work as photographer and digital artist started in 2011. I've been quite lucky since my girlfriend Danielle Fiore is an alternative model and her father is a photographer. I took fashion, beauty and glamour shots but in the end I chose the alternative scene, in which I'm more involved. Step by step I found and improved my own skills with Photoshop and since the town where I live is not rich of locations, I started with digital artworks. I had lot of interesting collaborations, the most important is the one with the horror metal band Cadaveria for KARMA (dvd). I'm focusing a lot on the Digital art world and on photomanipulation, since in Italy this kind of art is not known at best. I've made many different kind of digital art:
historical, fantasy, horror, fashion and portrait, but my favourites are : Medieval, Victorian, Roman. When I take some shots with a model, I all ready know what I want, in fact all my shootings are very quick. I prefer to spend on Photoshop about 3-4 hours to make a retouching or to create the ambient, but I want a perfect picture on camera. I made a different photographic exhibitions in Italy. At the moment I'm a Teacher and I made many Workshops about Photoshop and retouch. I've a Youtube Channel where I publish my video tutorials and I've some publications on online magazines and blog.
