Born in Cameroon in 1975, Mario Epanya showed early interests in drawing ,around 5 years old, he made his first drawings and watercolors, his father encouraged him in this way and offered his first books on the drawing techniques .

In 2000 Mario flew to France to become a professional makeup artist. . Optimistic, pushy Determined, Mario took his phone and called Paris industry an fashionistas ,to inform anyone who will listen ...how talented he is ... The audacity pays off, get appointments, assists makeup such Pierre Orlando, Renee Garnes, Thierry Mauduit, refines his technique, built his book with publications such as Fhm, Hapeer’sBazaar, Russian,German Vogue ...
In 2005 Mario becomes Trainer at Dessange Paris, and also works as a hairdresser makeup Studio Specials for major promotions productions in France with stars such as Denzel Washington, Michael weatherly, Uma Thurman ...

In 2007, Mario became a Beauty photographer and founded Mario Epanya Productions (Photgraphy ,art direction,post -production)
Creates the buzz on the net by offering to Conde nast an edition of Vogue Africa and produced his first exhibition GLAMAZONIA, a series of black and white black beauty dedicated to Black Beauty (France, Belgium, Brazil, Usa..)
Mario lives between New York, Rio de Janeiro, Paris and work as a commercial photographer.
