M.D. Welch

M.D. Welch is a photographer, filmmaker, and educator based in Northern Nevada. He has been working in the photography and video medium for over 25 years, specializing in editorial and commercial fields. Select client list includes: Nikon Camera, Profoto Lighting, Gitzo Tripods, Joe McNally Photographer, University of Nevada, Renown Medical Group, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of Forestry, and ITS Logistics.

For over 20 years, he has also been a teacher in the fields of graphics design, photography, lighting, and video production. He has the privilege teaching at the following institutions, University of Nevada, Academy of Art, Sony Camera, Maine Media Workshops, and Shooting the West. His knowledge, passion and energy applied to the subjects he teaches has been the hallmark of his teaching career.
