Michael Margolies

Creative & marketing executive and consultant. Over 35 years working with and managing commercial photographers, fashion models, designers, stylists, art directors, 3D models, product models, creative workflows, marketing, video, photo, and production studios. An eCommerce leader since the beginning, as one of the authors/developers of SGML, the precursor to HTML. I have extensive eCommerce, social networking, and digital marketing leadership experience.

Highly technical, I have consulted for Adobe and Apple to their clients on developing MarCom and creative systems and workflows.

Photography and design started my career and are my first loves. I shoot mostly self assignments and take on occasional jobs that I find interesting. Much of my time is spent mentoring, coaching, or consulting to Marketing, eCommerce, creative and photography clients. Process and productivity improvement in the creative and marketing industries is one of my specialties and I help these clients improve operations and lower costs.

When I'm not doing photography or marketing, I'm found writing, enjoying the outdoors, playing with grandkids, enjoying music (I'm an audiophile and was a music major prior to photography), and traveling as much as possible.
