Michael Mejos

I'm a freelance photographer that specialize in lifestyle portraiture photography with experience in glamour/fashion. I'm based here in Marysville, Washington. And my home town is San Diego, California. When my dad gave me a used Nikon N75 and said "Here go out and try it", I never looked back. What I enjoy about photography is the art of capturing time. Weird, I know, but at that moment I press that shutter button. It is forever in suspended animation, later to be observed and discussed because never will I get back that smile, that pose, that look and that emotion at that place at that time. With that, I love taking portraits of people because each and everyone of you has a soap box to stand on. What soap box you say, well that is your personality. Each individual personality is their own. There maybe similarities but you are you and no one can never ever duplicate it. So, I make it my goal to capture the best of my friends. And yes you are my friends because you gave me an opportunity to meet someone new(you) and have a relationship that will continue on from our collaboration.
