Timothy Courtemanche

I was first introduced to photography was in 1982 when given an Argus C44 Rangefinder camera system. Over the years, I've developed photography skills through mentoring and attending classes and seminars. I processed and printed much of his own color and B&W film.

My photography has included events, weddings, portraits and some commercial work. I also did a small about of stock photography, but did not go in that direction.

After shooting with 35mm, 645, 6x6 and the 4x5 view camera, in 2003, I migrated to digital photography and became proficient at editing images in Lightroom and doing retouching in Photoshop. While a firm believer in getting the image right in the camera, he recognizes that sometimes, an image just needs a little work in the computer.

Currently, my photography includes corporate and private events, child and family photography and the occasional wedding. I have a special interest, and have received training specific to photographing children with special needs and I am accredited by Special Kids Photography of America.

I am the official photographer of the NH Easter Seals and my work is displayed throughout the hallways of their corporate offices as well as being used in their annual report and promotional materials. In 2013, I received the Media CARES award from Easter Seals.
