I do film and manily film. I have tried digital and don't like the results from that form.

I learn my craft from my great grandmother. She was taught by the famous John Runt of the 1920's in Stillwater MN. She taught me when she was 80's and 90's.

I been using film before the first home computer. Film is my favorite medium.

I have a complete darkroom with wet lab. I have pulled/pushed flim. I bucked photos with enlargers. I have combined photos to make a collage without a computer. I can control the shading, the color, the size. I can hand color black and white photos. Basically I do what people do with computers now, but the way it used to be done.

I teach young people at the local high school the craft on the weekends. They in turn teach me new ways of doing things. Like I got my first mp3 player this weekend. Sounds better then the Victrola Talking Machine and no winding.
