I grew up in the country in a small farming community outside Kansas City Missouri area. While growing up, I learned how to work hard as I fell in love with the scenery around me and wanted to capture the beautiful sunsets and incredibly dynamic Midwest weather. One Christmas, my parents received a FujiFilm FinePix S3000 3MP digital camera as a gift and my dream came true. The camera was far from incredible – but I spent hours upon hours experimenting with its limited features in the beautiful landscapes surrounding me.
During my younger years, I learned wood working, cabinetry, construction and the value of hard work from my father. That’s when I began to see and appreciate form and architecture. From my mother (and three sisters), I learned the concepts of interior design, composition, space planning and color palates. From my nearly 10 years in the corporate business world, I learned statistics, marketing, customer management and information technology.
At the advice of a (very helpful) pro, I took my hobby to a new level. I began reading, experimenting and pursuing training to refine my skills, which eventually lead to an actual business – which in time, began to bloom and grow. What started as a carpenter, turned IT professional, turned project manager has developed into a more fulfilling career than I could have ever imagined. I love what I do and nothing makes me happier than to see others who love the service and end results I provide.
