About Shelly
I stole my first camera from my mother when I was five years old. Once I laid my hands on it, I knew what I was going to be.
This stolen camera taught me that I didn’t have to be scared to express myself or my creativity. I don’t have to be afraid of making mistakes or of failure; I’ve learned to admit them, to learn from them, and to try, and try again.
I have now been shooting professionally as a freelance photographer since 2017.
Today, the motivation behind my work is simple: to capture the feelings and emotions of the people and things that make the world go around. If you do not feel anything when looking at my work, then I have done something wrong, and I must try, and try again.
