Alejandro (Alex) Martinez

Born in the Pacific Northwest. Raised in the San Juaquin Valley by his mother's constant love and the unforgiving tutelage of his older brother, Alex eventually made his way to Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo. There a team of patient and underpaid professors helped him pursue paths in Fine Art & Philosophy. Along the way, Alex would pay for his entire college education by assisting established photographers and photographing portraits and weddings on the weekends. All on film, by the way.

Today Alex lives on California’s central coast, splitting his time between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Alex also frequently shoots in the Denver Colorado and Salt Lake City Utah areas with great local producers, crew members and talent.
