I got into photography in a slightly backwards manner, starting off messing about with Photoshop, progressing onto photomanipulation and discovering retouching, after all of which I thought "I could be editing my OWN photos", and took the plunge on my first DSLR. Best purchase decision I ever made - totally changed the way I see everything and led to me rediscovering my desire to travel.
